Our commitment
Better Being wants to make its site and content accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities, technologies or ways of browsing.
We are gradually aiming for a level of conformance corresponding to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Our accessibility work is ongoing. We are gradually evaluating and improving the pages, content, forms and features of our site.
Measures taken
In developing and improving the site, we seek in particular to:
- maintain readable contrast between text and background;
- allow keyboard navigation;
- use a logical heading structure;
- add text descriptions to relevant images;
- make links and buttons understandable out of context;
- provide sufficiently large interactive areas;
- avoid having information rely on colour alone;
- maintain a display suited to mobile devices;
- clearly associate labels with form fields;
- make form errors understandable and identifiable;
- provide visible focus states;
- respect reduced-motion preferences where possible;
- avoid animations that could hinder understanding or navigation;
- use language that is as clear as possible.
Navigation and assistive technologies
Our goal is to make it possible to use the site with:
- a keyboard;
- a touchscreen;
- browser zoom features;
- common assistive technologies;
- different screen sizes and devices.
External content and services
Some features may be provided through platforms operated by third parties, including:
- Cal.com for booking appointments.
These tools may have accessibility limitations that are not entirely within Better Being's control.
We nevertheless seek to choose appropriate providers and to offer a reasonable alternative when a person cannot use an external feature.
Possible limitations
Despite our efforts, some pages, integrations or features may not yet reach the intended level of accessibility.
Limitations may concern, in particular:
- some older content;
- some images or documents that have not yet been fully adapted;
- integrations from external providers;
- some interactions that are being developed or improved.
We invite anyone who encounters a barrier to let us know.
Report an accessibility issue
If you have difficulty viewing a page, filling out a form, booking an appointment or accessing content, contact us.
Please indicate, if possible:
- the page or feature concerned;
- the nature of the problem;
- the device or browser used;
- the assistive technology used, if applicable;
- the alternative format that would suit you.
We will make reasonable efforts to respond to your request and propose an accessible solution.
Use this form to tell us about an accessibility issue or to request an alternative format.
Thank you, your report has been sent. We will respond to you as soon as possible. You can also write to us directly at info@betterbeing.co.
